Valhalla Cemetery Bloomington, IN is a pathetic place of business for family of deceased....5 months and no death plate yet for my Father. Many phone calls, emails , visits and personal visits and not done yet....there was no cost and that was questioned first and then still nothing...everything was paid for years ago, so they are upset they did not get any more money from this family and can take their sweet time...well that is so disrespectful to my family.... Unfortunately for them yesterday I went off and low and behold Mike ? and Mark Williams called the law on me....Why? .... Because I yelled , cursed at them like a sailor and they must have got scared.... 3 police cars show up...What a way to treat a grieving family member....just do the job and be done with it....how freaking sad , pathetic, disrespectful and LOW Valhalla Cemetery administration is..... Praying they actually get the plate up today like they told the policewoman they would...we will see
Never never never choice this place as your last resting spot. They have no respect for the dead or living.Added July 01, 2017 by Alexandra Bastin - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
We had appt at 11 am on 4-13-17 and did not get seen till 1pm and was there till 4 pm, the guy was only interested in selling us stuff and not what we were there for which was to pay for opening and closing of grave. My parents had already bought their plots years ago along with tombstone, so he really wasnt going to make any money. So he wanted to sell us everything under the sun. He did not know what he was talking about, he said opening and closing along with vault was paid back when they bought their gravesites so many years ago. We asked at least 3 times if he was sure and he said yes. Then he went out to check something came back and told us it was not paid for (which we already knew this), then he tries to make us pay for tent and chairs at gravesite which we already paid funeral home for. I had to call funeral home to contact him about this. He also said only 3-5 people was allowed at gravesite service which I told him there would be more than that. Now when your grieving is this the way you want to be treated?? ITs been 3 months now the death date is still not on my dads tombstone, went in yesterday after they would not return my moms calls to find out its never been ordered because he (salesman) did not have her sign a paper once she signs now he says it will be 6 months to a year. VERY SAD SERVICE
